Experience

Olga studied Fine Art at the University of Ulster, Belfast, 1991–1996. After graduating with an Honours Degree in Sculpture, Olga spent 2 years in Tokyo working on a sculpture project ‘Cars’ with 7 other artists funded by Ford Motor Company.

While living in San Francisco for several years, Olga held the position of Art Director in the commercial arts studio RDG, from 1998-2002. While there, Olga also studied cast and mould-making techniques with Persian artist Abbas Modjabi.

From here Olga moved to New York, where she branched out with her own company Artisan Plasters. She kept her finger on the pulse of what was happening in the art world and had studios in Williamsburg and Dumbo. Olga now lives and works in Copenhagen since 2006. Her current studio The Shipyard Loft, is worth the visit. www.skabelonloftet.dk
