LE MATIN  18.1. 2019
This exhibition shows photos of the young photographer Mille Egholm that were taken in the morning.
This time of the day symbolises the dawn of a new day, a new chapterr, a clean canvas to be decorated.
Sometimes fate may change the direction of the day – out of your control. That’s why the morning contains both an innocence and an intensity. This is Mille’s attempt to express the ability to see the morning as a gift and to enjoy the moment being conscious of the fragility…

TORUNN BARA BJÖRNSDÓTTIR 2.11. 2018
Thorunn lives in Reykjavik. Her works are inspired by the vegetation that has come into being on the small volcanic island of Surtsey, which emerged from the sea in 1963. Her paintings document how the seeds, that have flown over from the mainland, have turned into an amazing wealth of species in the harsh surroundings of the island.

WANDERLUST  26.1. 2018
When I was a small child traveling for the first time with my parents from Germany to Italy, I followed with big eyes the scenery when the train entered Genova, passing courtyards with bird cages, flowers and laundry hanging from the balconies. It was there and then I was struck by wanderlust, and it has never left me since.”
The exhibition spans across more than 20 years of travels and painting – the oldest pictures are from the Eolian Islands in 1994, the latest from Madeira in November 2017.
Within this time span, there have been trips to Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea and the Philippines, Vancouver, ille de la Reunion in the Indian Ocean, Greece, Turkey, Morocco, Norway and again and again – Italy.
A few paintings from the artist’s home country Germany have been included. The materials I use are dry pastels and oil pastel crayons, not to forget paper in all shades and qualities. I find it or order it from Italy, China and Korea, or even from Africa, through my friend the Danish paper artist Annette Lind.

TOMAS ABRAHAMSSON  5.10. 2018
This artist lives and works in Gothenburg, and it is pleasure to have him back in our gallery.
Tomas has exhibited with us since 1996 and has shown a great ability to constantly incorporate new elements into his style.
He says: “The painting is ready when I see something in it, I did not know before. I have blown some kind of “life” into a flat exterior, like a kind of fixation image within the image. Or as Duke Ellington asked: “But does it swing?”

FREDERICA ROSSI  4.5. 2018
In May, it is a pleasure to welcome back to our gallery the Italian artist Frederica Rossi, who exhibited here in 2012.
Frederica, who was born and lives and works in Parma, will show new works, that are distinctively different from what she showed last time.
The birth of her two children created a fundamental change in her life that gave her a new view of the world through the eyes of the children and made her reach the very core of things where everything is in a constantly floating development. For this exhibition she has painted the spring into her pictures.

ANCIENT WOOD  2.3. 2018
“Johnny Williksens paintings are like a festive rush of colours. Watercolours and oil paintings that in some works seem like mighty forces in an overwhelming spontaneity and in others like tender poetry with the colouritios delicate nuances and transitions. It is surprising how blue and green, pink and yellow can come together and challenge the imagination in an endless row of combinations for the eye and the experience. These are abstractions that by inspection fold out as a cosmos of nature and man.” Dr Phil. Knud Voss
In March, the Norwegian artist Johnny Williksen, one of the founders of Galleri Krebsen, shows new sculptures and new and old paintings and watercolours together with the Danish architect
Kristina Kluge, who has always made drawings and paintings, but this is the first time she shows her works in a gallery.

RESPECT  6.4. 2018
The April exhibition is showing works by 3 artists who exhibit for the first time together:
Christella Bamford – ceramics and carpets
Dorthe Bundesen – photos and mixed media
Josephine Ernst – photos
The title hints to what the artists feel regarding the differences in their ways of expression and use of materials.
The artists have chosen to work with thematic colours – red, blue and golden, where each colour tone will form a section of the exhibition.
