Inspiration
My mothers family originates from the Pyrenees on the Spanish – French border, and I have often visited the area, gaining inspiration from the ochre landscape and the varied structures and patterns of the mountains.
The mood will swiftly shift between darkness and light, between snow storms, sunshine and impenetrable fog.
This fog may quickly surround you, close you in and make you lose your foothold.
As if going for a walk into a room or space without knowing where the next step will lead; into the untold, not knowing what might happen on the other side.

Recently
This year, 2020, I traveled in California. In this context I have worked with several different graphic works, where I mix photogravure with drypoint, collography, serigraphy and drawing, to bring out different structures and textures, creating like a landscape with a dramatic expression, where the perspective is the way in.
