Heléne and Pia met 30 years ago in Denmark, where they still live – Pia in Copenhagen and Heléne on Mon.
They were part of an artist group, which had its starting point in creating site-specific art in an exhibition context.
Here at Galleri Krebsen they meet again in a dialogue, each with their own expression and material choice.
Common to their art is the experience of nature, which they give a sensory expression by creating their own fantasies and fabulous creatures – hidden in the elements of nature.
Dense Swedish forests, mountains and lakes here meet Icelandic lava fields, glaciers and seas.
